The cove was the place to be today, as we were greeted with a massive feeding frenzy upon our arrival: 1500 DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANTS, 300 RING-BILLED GULLS, a goodly 100 LAUGHING GULLS, and 30 HERRIN
A juvenile YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER was a migrant in the yard on 10/14. 19 species visited the feeding station this week: House Sparrow: 32 American Goldfinch: 16 Rock Pigeon: 14 House Finch: 10 Blue
