Some of the highlights included finding a Sabine's Gull among 5-7,000 Bonaparte's Gulls and hundreds of Black-legged Kittiwakes; quality time with a Spruce Grouse; Fin and Minke Whales; lots of shorebirds; and both the best lobster rolls and tacos in the state!

And so ends the 2022 Bradbury Mountain Hawkwatch season. The last 5 days of the count were a continuation of the pattern we had been seeing the last couple of weeks. More predominately easterly winds

A male RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRD arrived at the feeders on 5/7. 26 species visited the feeding station this week. American Goldfinch: 19 Rock Pigeon: 18 House Sparrow: 8 Red-winged Blackbird: 8 Europe
