September (and Beyond) Birdwalks!

We are pleased to announce a return to the old format (mostly) for our FREE SATURDAY MORNING BIRDWALKS, starting next Saturday! Once again, we’ll meet at the store at 8:00am and return between 10:00 and 10:30. However, carpooling will not be mandatory or encouraged. We shall caravan to a local park, with the destination decision being made based on weather, number of participants, and to take full advantage of any exceptional birding opportunities, especially with fall migration in full swing.

Masks will continue to be required while we are out in the field together, and if folks decide to carpool, we strongly encourage the use of masks when within vehicles.

So no more pre-registration or planning, just show up once again when you can and we’ll go birding!

Birdwalks are currently scheduled for:

September 5.

NO BIRDWALK September 12 (Fall Songbird Workshop with DownEast Adventures).

September 19.

NO BIRDWALK September 26 (Monhegan Fall Migration Weekend).

October 3

October 10

October 17

October 24

*Like everything else in 2020, this is all subject to change of course based on the current best available science and common sense.
