Private Birding Guide Available!

With the last of our June tours (“Birds on Tap – Roadtrip: Grassland and Grains!” and “Thrushes of Maine”) now officially cancelled, this is the first June in over a decade where we do not have any scheduled group birding tours in the month of June. We do have a series of private birdwalks scheduled, and we are pondering the return of public birdwalks of some incarnation in July.

In the meantime, Derek’s availability means it’s the perfect time for some private guiding! (We’ll meet at the location, and masks are required). Need a hole filled in your life list? Want a crash-course in birding by ear? Or perhaps just an introductory walk to learn what this bird-watching thing is all about! Feeder Birds This Week: 9/18

Migrants in the yard this week included BLACK-AND-WHITE and YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS on 9/13. The first of fall WHITE-THROATED SPARROW arrived on 9/16. 20 species visited the feeding station this week.
