Fall Monhegan Migration Weekend Report

As always, we had a fantastic time on our annual fall migration tour to Monhegan Island. Some highlights this year included many Cape May Warblers and Baltimore Orioles, along with a Clay-colored Sparrow and 3 Dickcissels. A Lesser Black-backed Gull, Mourning Warbler, and Prairie Warbler (rare on the island) were also treats. See Derek's blog to get the whole report plus some great photos!

Feeder Birds This Week: 9/25

The first WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW (immature) was seen feeding under the feeders on 9/24. And a YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER is feeding from our Nutsie block. 21 species visited the feeding station this week. R

Feeder Birds This Week: 9/18

Migrants in the yard this week included BLACK-AND-WHITE and YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS on 9/13. The first of fall WHITE-THROATED SPARROW arrived on 9/16. 20 species visited the feeding station this week.
